Selecting an appropriately sized boiler is key to ensuring it can meet the needs of a property, both for space heating and for domestic hot water provision.
Selecting a boiler which is oversized for space heating increases the likelihood of boiler cycling and consequential reductions in efficiency and wear and tear on the boiler, meaning it may require earlier replacement.
Having an undersized boiler may mean it won't have the power to heat your home properly, especially in winter, nor may it have enough hot water (Combi Boiler) when more than one person is trying to shower or run the hot taps.
